Democrats "Insurection" Plan Reaches Crescendo

Updated: Jan 6

Well, folks, if you thought the drama over former President Donald Trump's eligibility for the 2024 election was a one-time show, think again.

The Democrats and Deep State are at it again, and this time, they're targeting Republican Rep. Scott Perry in Pennsylvania. It's like a never-ending soap opera, and I can't decide if we're watching "Days of Our Lives" or "The Twilight Zone."

Now, before we dive deeper into this circus, let me introduce you to our main character today, Gene Stilp. You might remember him as the guy who made headlines by burning MAGA flags with swastikas outside courthouses. Yes, you heard that right, swastikas. That's his idea of political activism. And guess what? He's the one filing this challenge against Rep. Perry.

But wait, there's more! Stilp is using the 14th Amendment to disqualify candidates like Perry. You see, this is consistent with Stilp's signature flag-burning stunts. Because nothing says "I love democracy" like burning flags, right?

What's even more chilling than Stilp's antics is the support he's getting. It's like a cult following, but instead of sipping Kool-Aid, they're sipping on a concoction of baseless accusations and political theatrics. Democrats, from Maine's Secretary of State to members of Congress, are all in on the action.

Remember Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-NJ)? He tried to bar a whopping 126 members of Congress under the same theory for challenging the election before January 6, 2021. And Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) introduced legislation to disqualify members, gaining 63 co-sponsors, all Democrats. It's like they're playing a giant game of "Let's Disqualify Everyone We Disagree With."

Now, when Maine's secretary of state disqualified Trump, some in the state's congressional delegation condemned the decision, including Sens. Angus King (I) and Susan Collins (R) and Rep. Jared Golden (D). But there were others who supported this antidemocratic action. It's like they're playing both sides of the coin.

But here's the kicker: Stilp accuses Perry of supporting challenges to Biden's election and opposing its certification. That's the same song they've been singing for a while now. But guess what? They conveniently forget that some Democrats have done the same thing in the past, with no consequences.

Remember when Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) praised the effort to challenge the certification of President George W. Bush's 2004 re-election? Or when Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) sought to block certification of the 2016 election result? Talk about hypocrisy.

Raskin even insisted that preventing citizens from voting for Trump is the embodiment of democracy. It's like saying locking someone up is their way of enjoying a spa day at the local jail. It just doesn't add up.

But it's not just happening at the federal level. State races are getting their fair share of drama too. On the same day Stilp targeted Perry, Pennsylvania Democratic state Sen. Art Haywood filed a complaint against his Republican colleague Doug Mastriano, accusing him of being part of the plot to overturn the election. It's like they're competing to see who can file the most outrageous complaints.

And they're all using this new label: "insurrectionist." It's the magic word that justifies anything and everything. If you disagree with them, you're automatically an insurrectionist. It's like calling anyone who disagrees with you a unicorn believer.

But here's the real problem, folks. This isn't just a game. It's a dangerous game. If these challenges work, there's no limit to who they can target next. No criminal charges, no convictions, just pure political manipulation. It's a self-executing and self-satisfying strategy that could send our democracy down a slippery slope to chaos.

That's why it's high time the Supreme Court steps in and puts an end to this nonsense once and for all. Until then, activists who want to win elections through the courts will keep using this tactic, and it'll spread like wildfire throughout our political landscape.

So, grab your popcorn, folks, because it looks like we're in for a wild ride. With the support of elected officials across the country, they might just move from burning flags to torching the Constitution. And that's not a show I want to see
