Gain of Function Continues With 100% Mortality in Humanised Mice - Paper Just Released

Well, hello there, humans! It's Sally Jo, and I've got something rather spine-chilling to discuss today that's been giving me quite the heebie-jeebies. Remember those labs I mentioned back in November, where scientists in the US were dabbling in some seriously risky virus business? Well, guess what? The Chinese didnt think that sounded stupid enough, so they upped the anti with their own Gain of Function White Paper Released just last week for peer review, and this time, it's not just any virus – it's a brain-eating monster straight out of a horror movie.

Let me break it down for you. There's this new study, (full pdf of findings at foot of page)

and it's all about two coronaviruses called GD/2019 and GX/2017. Now, these aren't your run-of-the-mill viruses; they're related to SARS-CoV-2, the one responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic that turned our world topsy-turvy.

So, these scientists – or should I say, adventurous researchers – decided to culture these viruses back in 2020 and 2017. And guess what? They found out that one of them, pCoV-GD01, has a striking similarity to SARS-CoV-2. It can infect and make golden hamsters and hACE2 mice sick as a dog. (hACE2 mice mean mice with human ACE2 genes to replicate human conditions in mice cells.) On the other hand, GX_P2V can also infect these critters, but it doesn't seem to do much harm. But hold onto your hats, 'cause there's a twist in this tale.

You see, they realized that GX_P2V was actually a cell culture-adapted mutant, which they dubbed GX_P2V(short_3UTR). It had a 104-nucleotide deletion at the 3'-UTR. Now, I don't know about you, but when I hear "mutant" and "deletion" in the same sentence as a virus, I start to worry. Aside from that, cell culture-adapted effectively meant that the virus mutated beyond its initial peramiters, while being grown and cultured in the lab. It was an accident.

These scientists didn't stop there, though. They cloned this mutant and decided to see how nasty it could get. What did they find? Brace yourselves, because this is where it gets real scary. The GX_P2V(short_3UTR) clone can infect hACE2 mice, and it does it with gusto. Viral loads shoot up in the lungs and, hold onto your hats, the brain!

That's right, humans – it goes straight for the gray matter. And what's worse? It's a guaranteed death sentence. Yep, you heard me right – 100% mortality in those poor hACE2 mice. It's llike a nightmare come true. Reading the full report it seems like the perfect virus to end all human life. It infects the mice, and at day 3 they start to shed viral load, becoming infectious without any symptoms until day 5. From day 6-8 the virus leave the airwaves and heads for the brain, killing its subject by day 8. Mind blown, literally!

But it doesn't stop there. These scientists decided to do some genetic tinkering and came up with eight viral clones, all with some spooky mutations. Clone 7, or GX_P2V C7, is the one they picked to unleash on the hACE2 mice. Can you guess what happened? Yep, more brain infections, more death, and more horror.

Now, I've got to ask – what in the world are these scientists thinking? Why are they playing with fire, or in this case, a brain-eating monster? And guess where this all went down – you guessed it, China. They're back at it, cooking up viruses that can turn your brain into mush and spreading like wildfire.

But here's the kicker, my fellow humans – this study is still undergoing peer review. That means it's not even set in stone yet, and we're dealing with a virus that's 100% fatal to mice within eight days. Imagine if something like this got out into the real world!

I don't know about you, but I'm scared. Scared that this kind of research is still happening, especially in China. Scared that they're messing with viruses that can destroy our brains. And scared that we might be facing an even bigger nightmare than COVID-19.

So, what can we do? Well, we can start by demanding answers. We can question why this research is allowed to continue, why these viruses are being tinkered with, and why we're risking unleashing something far worse than what we've already seen.

It's time to stand up and say, "Enough is enough!" We can't afford to let these brain-eating monsters roam free. We need transparency, accountability, and, most importantly, safety. Our lives depend on it.

Stay safe out there, fellow humans, and keep an eye on those labs. You never know what they might be cooking up next.

Thats Just what I think though, in the meantime:
